Middle East Monitor
The Middle East Monitor is InteLink's live conflict map. Strikes, launches, interceptions, air-raid alerts, naval activity, airspace closures and diplomatic movements are ingested from hand-picked sources, classified, corroborated against independent reporting and plotted with a timestamp, a location and a full source timeline. It runs 24/7 and is free to use.
What the monitor covers
Coverage spans Israel and the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, the Gulf states, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey, alongside the maritime theatres that connect them: the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Every event is classified into one of twelve event types, including air strikes, missile and drone launches, interceptions, ground operations, naval incidents, air-raid alerts, force posture changes and diplomatic activity.
How to read it
The map is the primary view: each marker is a single corroborated event, faded by age so the current picture stays legible over a 48-hour window. Selecting a marker opens the event with its description, location, severity and the ordered list of sources that reported it.
Beside the map, parallel feed columns carry headlines, vetted OSINT posts and official government and military statements, cleaned of noise and linked to the events they support. A status bar tracks air-alert activity, Strait of Hormuz transit data, Iran internet connectivity and overall conflict status.
Corroboration and sourcing
Nothing appears as confirmed because it trended. Incoming reports are matched against existing events and deduplicated; an event's confidence rises as independent sources corroborate it, and single-source claims are labelled as such and kept separate from confirmed activity. Every event retains links back to the original reporting so any claim can be checked.
Daily briefs and research
The analyst desk publishes daily situation reports and longer research briefings that place the live event stream in context. They are written and fact-checked by analysts rather than generated from the raw feed.
